Mid-City Supply was founded in 1947 as a retail-plumbing store on south Main Street in Elkhart, Indiana. In 1953, we moved to a new, larger location and became wholesale only. During the next 19 years, we added onto that building five different times. In 1972, we finally out-grew this facility and moved to our present distribution center in Elkhart's eastside industrial park. In 1984, we opened our Plymouth branch, and in 1989 we opened our South Bend branch. In 2003, we acquired From's Supply Company, adding two Indiana locations and one Michigan location. Today, Mid-City Supply continues as a family owned business to serve the unique needs of our customers. Our central distribution center is still located in Elkhart, with branch locations in Plymouth, South Bend, Michigan City, Warsaw, and Jenison, Michigan. Mid-City Supply Supports the United Way Mid-City Supply Co. Inc. is actively involved in serving the communities where we live and work. Associates are encouraged to give of their time and talents and represent the company at civic and community organizations, including those member organizations of the United Way. In 2007, Mid-City associates will contribute over $17,000 to the United Way (Elkhart County, Marshall County, St. Joseph County, La Porte County, Kosciusko County and in Western Michigan). Mid-City is consistently recognized for its presence on the leadership roster of United Way Elkhart County and Western Michigan.
